This allows us to recognise you when you return to this website, even if we do not know who you are. In addition to cookies that are only used during a session and deleted after your visit to the website (session cookies), cookies can also be used to store user settings and other information for a certain period of time (e.g. two years) (permanent or persistent cookies).

However, you can set your browser to reject cookies, save them for one session only or otherwise delete them prematurely. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. If, however, IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can set your browser software to prevent cookies from being saved; however, we would point out that if you do so it may not be possible for you to make full use of all the functions of this website. On our website you will find links or plug-ins to various social networks (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). Clicking on the links opens the corresponding social media pages; to which this privacy policy does not apply. For details of the provisions applicable there, please refer to the relevant privacy policies on the websites of the individual providers.

No personal information is transmitted to the respective providers before the corresponding link or plug-in is activated. Your accessing the linked page is also the basis for data processing by the respective providers. We have no influence on the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of data by the providers of the plug-ins.

The security procedure used (SSL, Secure Sockets Layer) corresponds to the usual state of the art.

All employees of the Ruedi Lüthy Foundation who handle your data are obliged to comply with the data protection rules. Access to the system is via an authorisation procedure. SSL encryption (recognisable by https:// in the address line of the browser) is a protocol for encrypting data during transmission from the web server to the browser. This transmission offers particularly high security. During transmission, your personal data are encrypted between your computer and our SSL server using the SSL protocol.

This statement applies to all links and references set within the Foundation's own website. Liability for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and, in particular, for damage arising from the use or non-use of such information lies solely with the provider of the site to which reference is made, and not with the party who merely refers to the publication in question via links.

We may amend this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. The current version published on our website shall apply.
