Our long-term president Ulrich B. Mayer, unfortunately, had to resign due to health issues. « Ueli Mayer always impressed me with his calm and prudent personality. He ran the foundation successfully up until his resignation and he did not hesitate any efforts to support Newlands Clinic. I am deeply grateful,» says founder Ruedi Lüthy. Ulrich B. Mayer governed the foundation’s work as president for almost 20 years. Long-term member Prof. Hans Lutz took over the presidency in August 2022.
Also, Beat Wagner left the board of trustees at the end of 2022. He shared his knowledge and experience as a communications specialist and former diplomat favourably. « We are extremely glad that Beat Wagner has supported us over the past years. He enriched our work with his valuable inputs and excited reflection again and again, » says CEO Sabine Lüthy « We thank Beat Wagner from the bottom of our hearts and wish him all the best. »
