With this privacy policy, we inform you about which personal data we process in connection with our activities and operations, including our websites. In particular, we explain for what purposes, how and where personal data are processed. We also inform you about the rights of persons whose data we process.

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the related ordinance.

Protecting your data is important to us. We respect your privacy and ensure that your data are processed in accordance with applicable laws. The Ruedi Lüthy Foundation is subject to Swiss law.

We process personal data that you provide to us directly. Where required for our activities, we may also process personal data obtained lawfully from publicly accessible sources (e.g. public databases, the internet) or from third parties (e.g. address providers).

Please note that without your personal data, we may not be able to carry out our activities or conclude and perform contracts with you.

We process personal data as required to carry out our activities in a sustainable, user-friendly, secure and reliable manner, for example to respond to inquiries or process donations.

Personal data may be processed in connection with:

  • Donations to the Ruedi Lüthy Foundation

  • Organisation and execution of communication (by post or electronic means)

  • Business communication via post, telephone, email, voice messages, SMS, MMS, video messages or instant messaging

  • Analysis of the use of our information

  • Organisation and execution of events

  • Analysis of donor behaviour

3. Disclosure of personal data

We do not disclose personal data to unauthorised third parties. Our employees only have access to the data required to fulfil contractual and legal obligations. Where necessary, we may disclose personal data to third parties for technical or organisational services. These parties are contractually obliged to comply with applicable data protection laws. Data may only be transferred abroad if the recipient is subject to adequate data protection regulations.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics. Data may be transferred to servers in the USA. IP anonymisation is enabled. Further information is available in Google’s privacy documentation.

Facebook Pixel

We use the Facebook Pixel to analyse advertising effectiveness. Data are anonymous to us. Facebook processes data according to its own privacy policy.

RaiseNow

We use RaiseNow as a secure donation and payment platform. Please refer to RaiseNow’s privacy policy at www.raisenow.com.

Social Media

Links to social networks are provided. Their privacy policies apply. We have no influence on their data processing.

V. Secure data transmission

Data transmission over the internet involves risks. Data are transmitted in encrypted form (SSL). Our technical and organisational measures protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and destruction.

VI. Liability for links

The Ruedi Lüthy Foundation has no influence on the content of external websites and assumes no liability for linked content.

We may update this privacy policy at any time. The current version published on our website applies.
