Working for the Ruedi Lüthy Foundation

WORKING FOR THE RUEDI LÜTHY FOUNDATION

Fundraising and Donor Relations (40–80%)

Meaningful work: Working together against HIV in Zimbabwe.

The Ruedi Lüthy Foundation provides comprehensive medical care for around 8,000 HIV patients at its Newlands Clinic in Zimbabwe. Our office in Bern is the hub for fundraising and maintaining contact with thousands of donors. We are also supported by the SDC, Swiss foundations and companies. To strengthen our small, dedicated team, we are looking for a strong communicator to join us on 1 May or by agreement.

Your responsibilities

  • Fundraising: You will specifically solicit donations from foundations, companies and other institutions.

  • Relationship management: You will look after some of our most important patrons and strengthen their connection to our foundation.

  • Innovation: You bring new ideas for fundraising and expand our fundraising activities with institutions.

Your profile

  • Qualifications: You have several years of solid experience in fundraising, marketing or a similar field. You have also completed relevant training or further education.

  • Personality: You enjoy approaching people, are confident in conversations and are charmingly persistent in promoting our mission.

  • Fluency: You have a command of the German language. You write accurately, effectively and to the point. Good English is a prerequisite.

  • Working method: You are well organised, independent and efficient.

We offer meaningful work at a fair wage. The office is located near Bern railway station and is open Monday to Thursday. Does this appeal to you? We look forward to receiving your application at roman.mezzasalma@rl-foundation.ch. You can also reach Managing Director Roman Mezzasalma on  031 302 05 61.
